While using our Website, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Below is a detailed list of the information we collect and how we use it.
Placing an order
When you place an order from our Website, it is processed by one of the third party payment processors we use: Shareit/DigitalRiver, BlueSnap, Paypro Global, 2 Checkout/Avangate. They collect personally identifiable information such as your full name, company, email address, phone number, physical address, IP address, payment method and credit card information, to be able to process your payment and issue an invoice. You can consult their individual privacy policies to see how they store and process your data:
None of the payment processors send the payment details to us, we do not receive or record any payment details. We receive the following information from the payment processors: full name, company, email address, phone number, physical address, IP address and payment method. We use these details to deliver you the license key and provide you customer support.
When you contact us using the contact form via the Website or emailing us directly, any personally identifiable information you send to us is only used to identify you as a client and help with your support issue. We use Google Apps to manage email correspondence. We also archive all the emails. We do not share your email correspondence details with other third party providers. We have a user forum powered by phpBB (an open source forum software). When you register to become a member of the forum or login and start posting we collect the information you submit to us to allow you access to the forum: a uniquely identifiable user name, your personal password and email address. Any other information is optional and you can decide what information will be displayed publicly. We do not use your email address collected via the forum to send you promotional emails.
When you subscribe to our mailing list you provide us a valid email address. This is stored on our hosting company's servers. We use your email address to notify you occasionally of newly released versions or other updates. You can unsubscribe at any time from our mailing database to stop receiving these notifications.
During activation you have an option to provide (optionally) your email address as well. If you enter your email address on the activation form, you will be automatically subscribed to our newsletter as well. This is done in order to notify you occasionally of newly released versions or other updates.
App usage statistics
In order to help development and improve our App's features, the installer has a setting for collection of usage data. This function collects anonymous App usage data and sends it to Google Analytics. The data is used in development to get reliable statistics on which features are used (or not used). This data is anonymous and does not personally identify you. You can opt out of sending anonymous usage statistics during the setup or later from the App options.
During the installation process, anonymous statistics are sent and stored on Softland's servers. These stats help us discover setup errors and improve the installation user experience. This data is anonymous and does not personally identify you.
For bug tracking purposes, you can send us crash/exception logs that help us improve the app. These logs have an optional setting to include your email address, which we only use to get back to you when we fix the bug.
Activating/reactivating the App
To use doPDF Premium you have to activate it. During activation the following information is sent to Softland: license key, full name, company name, email address, IP address, comments, computer name, hardware ID, operating system details and app details. We use this information to verify the legitimacy of the App use. The same information is also transmitted by the app periodically to Softland to reactivate it.
