Encrypt PDF Files
With novaPDF Professional you can encrypt PDF files using low-level encryption (40bit) or high-level encryption (128bit).
You can control if the PDF can be viewed, printed, modified, copied or annotated. As an example, you can prevent the recipients of the PDF document from copying/pasting text from it.
Active PDF Links
You can have active PDF links in the resulting PDF file, no matter if they're in visible or hidden format in the original document.
novaPDF Professional recognizes links to files and URLs included in the original document and inserts them in the generated PDF file (they become clickable active PDF links).
Send PDF via email
With novaPDF Professional the PDF file can be automatically sent via email to different recipients, either using the default email client or an SMTP server.
This option can be used as a log too, since you can have it send an email after each PDF was created.
Create PDF Bookmarks
novaPDF Professional can detect the headings from original documents and add bookmarks in the PDF file.
This is useful if you have a PDF file with multiple pages and want to create a table of contents to improve accessibility. You have to define the text attributes headings and bookmarks.
PDF Watermarks
With novaPDF Professional you can define multiple watermarks and add them to individual pages or the entire PDF document.
You can stamp an entire PDF (or individual pages from it) with an image or text that can have rotation, opacity, color variation or other effects. Useful for "branding" your PDF files.
Merge PDF Files
You can merge PDF files (append to a PDF, or insert content before current page) or overlay with an existing PDF file.
This is a very useful feature if you need to have documents from various sources in a single PDF file (for instance pages from a word document, excel sheet, powerpoint presentation, ...).
Digital Signatures
Using novaPDF Professional you can sign PDF documents using digital certificates from system stores and Personal Information Exchange files.
PDF files can be edited thus it's recommended to sign important PDF documents such as invoices, contracts, agreements to be sure the document hasn't been altered without authorization.
Private/Public Printing Profiles
You can define profiles for future use, each with its own printing settings. The profile can be either private or public.
Public profiles can be defined on a server and propagated to all client computers, thus very useful for enterprise-wide deployment of printing profiles.
