Serious errors re: "Printer driver in use"

This is a pretty fundamental problem. On one occasion, when using DoPDF a print job failed to complete. Ever since then, the program will not run properly. I can't apply the updates to DoPDF.

To make matters worse, the uninstall program fails as well. The program won't run and can't be removed from the system.

Here is the sequence of 3 errors received in sequence when trying to uninstall from Windows 7 control panel:

(1) Operation could not be completed (error 0x00000bb9). The specified printer driver is currently in use

(2) Operation coudl not be completed (error 0x00000705). Windows cannot locate a suitable printer driver. Contact your administrator for help locating and installing a suitable driver.

(3) The arguments are invalid.

Quite likely we need to free up the printer driver, or something related to that.

Any advice would be appreciated.
