Hi:
Just installed v6.1.280 in Vista 32 Home Premium with all updates.
doPDF will not work in either Notepad or OpenOffice.
The error message in both applications is: "Error creating PDF file (access is denied)"
Hope you can help.
Ken

Hi All:
Just discovered the problem. The default location for saving the PDF was somehow restricted. When I saved to the desktop -- all is sweetness and light.

I have not installed doPDF on VISTA Ultimate yet but PrimoPDF kept failing

with permissions. I never got past that. How would I change the permissions

under Vista?

Thanks,

Joe

@J0cobe1 I suggest you install dopdf and see if you're able to create PDFs with it under Vista.

Thanks rod for letting us know, it's usually the best thing when a user posts the problem and finds the solution by himself (or herself) :).

access denied when dopdf7 trys to ceate PDF. None of the above answers applies

to me Old version use to work. I use win 7 pro 64 bit. I own the folder where it is trying to create PDF unless it's trying to write it somewhere else.

How do I change the folder name to store PDF in?

Where is your help file? weeks wasted on this

@stevedonato

Here's an user manual that explains the interface of doPDF (including the Save as PDF window where you can change the folder name): http://www.dopdf.com/download/pdf/dopdf.pdf
