The converted PDF files are too large.

    The version of doPDF I used is 6.1.281.

    Today, I printed the word file, which is 38K, using doPDF. It is very surprising that the converted PDF file is larger than 6M. But several days ago, I printed the same file using doPDF, the file size is only around 40K.

    What causes such difference in PDF file size? The word file contains only English characters.

    The doPDF version 6.2.287 has the same problem. The 40K word file will be converted into PDF file which is larger than 6M. (I don't use the function of "Embed font")

    Does the word document contain images? If it does, make sure you compress them as explained here - http://www.dopdf.com/forum/topic/keeping-file-size-down#post-560
