extension problem .prn instead of pdf

When using doPDF my document is saved as a .prn rather than a .pdf. I have tried to change the extension in the name and saving as file type: all other, but it doesn't work. Can you give me any direction?

Are you sure that the check box of "Print to File" in the printing dialog window is unchecked?

Giampaolo is right, you have that option checked, so in order to create PDFs you'll need to uncheck it.
