I need small files.
I choose 72 DPI on control panel.
I click Ok then PRINT.
The file remaining on 300 DPI.
Why?
I use doPDF on Vista Home Premium 32 but some days ago work correctly, now (after backup of system) nothing works.
Can you help me?

I'm sorry but I can't help as I don't understand why it remains to 300dpi, the only soulution i could think of is reinstalling dopdf too if you reinstalled the operating system.
I reinstalled 5 times.
It doesn't work.

When i choose the doPDF print appear the options, right? Well, i choose to change from 300 to 72 DPI resolution, but don't change. It remains to 300 DPI and the files out very big! Please help me.
If you have very large PDF files changing the dpi won't affect it that much, try instead following the tutorial here http://www.dopdf.com/forum/topic/keeping-file-size-down to reduce the PDF file size (also make sure you don't embed the fonts to reduce the size).
I had the same problem with the last release,
changing the resolution, in the property page, for example from 300 to 72 dpi and then OK, when I come back to the property page I find the resolution to 300 again, not 72.
So I removed this version and reinstalled the release 6.2.288 that works fine.
smbells, does that happen only when printing from Internet Explorer, or it happens in notepad and word too?
It happens printing from all programs like word and notpad, but also when I try to set the dpi resolution as default, changing it from contol pannel and printer defaults.
I have win xp sp3 italian version.
If I use version 6.2.288 is ok, with 6.2.300 or 6.2.301 I have the problem.
@smbells - forgot to mention that you were right, and we were able to correct this problem here, it will be available in version 6.3 which we'll release very soon. thanks for the help.
