    Hello, I am converting a MS Word doc to pdf using the doPDF printer. In my MS Word file I have my author name set to my name, when the pdf file opens it is using my user profile name "sunshine"... I have changed my profile name to my name, checked the MS Word Doc and the author name was correct, restarted the pc with the new user profile name and still I get the same result - the wrong author name appears in the PDF document file. I only have the reader - therefore I can't change the information from inside Acrobat. Why does it keep resetting the Author name and how do I fix this?

    Hi,
    You can't change the author name (or the metatag information) with doPDF, the Author that is shown in the pdf is actually the username of the logged in Windows user.
