When I try to convert using doPDF it saves it. When I try to open what i just saved as a pdf, i get the following message: Adobe Reader could not open "file name" because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
any ideas on why this is happening to me and what i can do so i can save AND view it as a pdf?

ok, so i've narrowed it down to this:
the above message only shows when i try to convert a pub file to pdf.
when i convert a gif, jpg, or anything else it is fine.
any ideas or suggestions for the pub??

When the pub is converted to the pdf, what size does the pdf have on your disk? If it's 0Kb something went wrong during conversion and only a reinstall might fix it. Can you tell what operating system you have installed, what Publisher version and what dopdf version? We'll try to see if it's a bug or a particular error. Thanks.
