Re: DoPDF doesn't uninstall

I first used GeekUninstaller to remove DoPDF8 and thought that all traces had been removed.
Much later when I ran CCleaner for some other reason I noticed that it discovered quite some DoPDF 8 and NovaPDF traces that it was able to remove.

Re: dwg - upside down text

It sounds to me as if the upside-down text (in fonts) is not processed by doPDF as it should have been. If you are the creator of the DWG (in what program?), you could try and see if you can convert the upside-down text from fonts to vector drawings. Then you'll have a better chance that doPDF is pr...

Re: doPDF V8 Fails To Install

I too have experienced problems with installing v8.0.906. At around 78% error messages are thrown up, but in my case I was able to finalise the whole procedure by clicking a number of Cancel and Close buttons. I sent my logfiles to info@dopdf.com As to v7 remaining on your system. Yes, with the prev...

Re: v8.0.906 - HUGE

Actually, Windows itself (Uninstall Programs) also reports 165MB for doPDF and 35,9MB for the novaPDF driver.
So that makes 201MB.

Re: Vista Windows Photo Gallery

I don't quite understand your issue. I don't have Windows Vista available to me, but I do have Windows Photo Gallery (from the Windows Essentials package) installed on my W8 machines and - after a bit of searchig I've found doPDF providing support. Windows Photo Gallery is aimed at displaying and to...

Re: doPDF V8 Fails To Install

Well, any type of user should be able to invoke an installer.
It's up to the installer program to ask the user to (temporarily) raise Administrator rights in lieu of the installation process.

v8 Startup.exe

I use SUMo to regularly scan if there are new versions available of the software I use and today an obscure "Startup.exe" showed up. It appears that this is the new startup executable of doPDF 8. In the previous version I believe this executable was called doPDF7.exe. Less obscure. Less om...

Re: v8.0.906 - HUGE

It was reported by GeekUninstaller.
Possibly an error on its part.
I'll check again using different methods.

v8.0.906 - HUGE

doPDF v8 together with the NovaPDF printer driver accounts for a 200MB installation!!!!
doPDF v7 is a modest 13MB.

I used to like doPDF for its simplicity and modest requirements.
You've made PDFCreator an interesting option again.

v8.0.906 Cannot print Test Page

When I try to print a Test Page (standard Windows feature), I get the Alert box stating that it cannot connect to the server.
After this alert is closed, I receive an error message that printing the Test page has failed.

I'm afraid that I'll have to revert back to v7.
