Just installed, great product.
When I print from MS word, the default file name is the document name.
When I print from my VB application, the default file name is "Microsoft Visual Basic".
Is there a way to set the default file name to something more useful from a VB6 application?

No matter what I do, the PDF files I create always come out 8.5 X 11 inches. I've set the desired output, which is 12.38 X 9.25 inches. But for some reason, I keep getting 8.5 X 11. My OS is Windows XP, and the issue arises no matter what program I try to create a pdf from.

I select multiple files (JPEG images) in Windows Explorer, right click, Print (doPDF is default printer). It converts, but only a small part of image is converted. The "scale to page" option is not available on the Preferences page. Is there a solution for this. I want to convert a large number of files without opening and 'printing' each one.

When I print a MS Excel 2007 document using DoPDF 7, I have no problem if I print each spreadsheet separately. However if I send two or more spreadsheets at once, the first one comes out correctly, as does the first page of the second spreadsheet. When the second page of the second spreadsheet comes out, it uses the formating options from the first spreadsheet instead of the second. I have tested this with a version of DoPDF 6 and the problem does not occur.

I found out that i couldnot use hidend weblinks within the conversion. Once i discovered this i then changed them all to full weblinks http://www..... now what i have noticed is that say you have a long weblink which goes over more than one line, the conversion only includes the first line of the link and cuts of the rest, however doPdf shows that it has converted the whole link.

Dear friends
i do have the following issue:
i select multiple word files, i rigth click and give the "print" order. unfortunately the files which are about to be converted loose the initial name and they are shortened.
example files with the folowing names
Certif_111.10_02.01.1111_kk_panos_050310_Boreia_Apothikis Bafeiou.doc
Certif_112.10_02.01.1111_kk_panos_050310_Notia_Apothikis Bafeiou.doc
are converted to
Certif_111.10_02.01.pdf
Certif_112.10_02.01.pdf

Any solution? it seems that it is allowed to get a specific number of initial characters and that after a third dot it must include the pdf extension.

Hi folks,

I like the basic functions that Your doPDF offers very much, small and neat, except for one little thing.

Is it deliberate that if I open f.ex. an XLS file from ....\My Documents\Work\Stuff and try to print it to a PDF, the save path in the dialog will default to ....\My Documents and not to ....\My Documents\Work\Stuff which I would see as a logical (default) choice.

I also tried the "Always use this folder" option. It appeared to function more like "Remember the last used path", because if I decide to change the "stickied path" with Browse function, it will change it. Maybe a way to browse new paths without changing the sticky path (unless really wanted)?

I hope You don't take these questions and proposals in a wrong way; I will be still using Your great tool. Thank You very much.

Hello!
I'm trying to convert my CV from Word to pdf, but when I do it, three lines of the document go out of alignment. I checked the format properties of those 3 lines and compared them to other lines, but everything appears to be the same. When I print on a regular printer no problem.... WISIWIG. This only happens in the pdf conversion and it's always the same 3 lines. Any ideas?

I have a book file in FrameMaker. When I create a PDF file from this book file (save as PDF), text starts missing and messing up on page 845 (evey time) and to the end of the PDF file. My co-workers ran the same thing for me on their PCs, and they were able to create a perfect PDF file for me. It only happens on my machine. Any ideas why?

Thanks,
Brian

Hello all,
I have a project in which i have to do following things:
1. Open the PDF in the browser.
2. Write sticky notes on it.
3. Extract those sticky notes from the PDF and save it to database.

(meaning there should be some button on the PDF which will ave those sticky notes)
4. Next time when the PDF is open it should be linked to those sticky notes in the same place.

Is it possible to get sticky notes feature on the web browser and also is it possible seperate out the sticky notes from PDF.

Thnaks,

Hello! First post here, so please be gentle.

One of our users is currently experiencing a problem when trying to print to a PDF in Excel. The document should be a nine-page PDF file over four different worksheets; however, whenever he tries to print the PDF, doPDF insists on making two separate PDFs; a one-page PDF based on the first worksheet, and an eight-page PDF based on the remaining three. It's as if there were two different print jobs entirely, despite only one print command!

Has anyone encountered this or a similar problem before? How was it managed?

Thanks for your help in advance!
