I desperately needed a tool which would be able to split 500+ files for me, for work. Hey presto ! trawling the internet i came across the [...] it's got a full version, free 30 day trial, plus a manual which gives you a easy step by step guidance. The content splitter has some really good functions
1. Split 1000+ pages within 30 seconds !
2. Allows you split files by content, which is in the same location on each sheet
3. For each split file there is a naming convention, which has meant that i can use a field off my PDF which is more recognisable by other departments within my place of work

Follow the link below to make your life easier

You could try Gios PDF Splitter And Merger 1.12 (Freeware), available from:

http://www.paologios.com/products/psm.aspx

I have found it useful for splitting and merging PDF files.

Only thing to be aware of is that it requires .NET framework version 1.1, but that's already installed on many computers.

doPDF doesn't merge pdf files, meaning you cannot give to it several documents and have it create a single PDF file. However, if you have multiple sheets (assuming Excel is used) you can have Excel concatenate the sheets into one file and after that send it to doPDF.

Tools required: bycypdfasm.exe from http://www.becyhome.de/download_eng.htm#becypdfasm and mbtpdfasm.exe from http://thierry.schmit.free.fr/spip/spip.php?article14
put the 2 exe files in the same folder.

print the ppt and doc files and create 2 or more pdf files first, run bycypdfasm, save the combined file using a different name from any of the input pdf files, done!

No, doPDF cannot merge PDF files (or other files into a single PDF). In order to have those files together you would have to import the 1-3 word files into the powerpoint itself in the order you want them in the PDF.

I have a question about merging 2 or more files into one pdf. Is this possible with DoPdf? How would one do this? I need to create one pdf with a powerpoint handout and 1 to 3 word files.

Thank you.
