When using "print all worksheets" to create a single pdf from a multi-worksheet excel file, landscape pages are problematic. If a worksheet spills over onto more than one page, then page 1 is fine within the pdf file, but page 2 invariably prints out small scale at top left hand corner of the next page. Then the pdf file reverts to normal page size for the next worksheet page in the sequence. I checked page size and dpi - all set to A4, 300dpi so that's not the problem. Couldn't find solution so cut and pasted large worksheet into four smaller worksheets, all taking 1 page. This time the first 3 pages were fine, but page 4 in the sequence again printed small at top left hand corner. I'm going mad here, can anyone help? Thanks a million.

Have been trying to make a demo file to send you, but cannot! If I make the most trivial change to the original, then the pdf is fine. I cannot send you the original because some of the contents are confidential. As I mentioned earlier, if the problem arises again, there is a workaround, and given the problem's elusive nature, I suggest that it is not worth pursuing at the moment. Thanks again for your consideration.

I did some tests under Office 2003 on XP and it converts it fine. Can you send the word document in question (you can remove most of the text) to info at dopdf dot com? And are you creating it from Office 2007 on Vista?

Thanks for posting the workaround, but still the pdf should display correctly without inserting page breaks. I know this was a bug in a previous version of dopdf, so my question is if you are using the latest version?

OK I've found a workaround. Instead of allowing a long WORD table to make its own page breaks, insert explicit section breaks with defined Landscape aspect.

I am having trouble converting a WORD file to pdf. The Word file has two sections, the first is Portrait, the second, Landscape. The pdf output correctly shows the first section in portrait, but only the first page of the second section in landscape. Then it reverts to portrait for the remainder of the section.
Any suggestions?

Got them and I was able to reproduce this (these files print correctly from MS Word viewer though, but not from Textmaker where one of the landcape layout pages gets switched to portrait). I'll forward the files to our developers and if it's a problem with doPDF that they can fix we'll include this in a future build

I did the following test:
- I installed Textmaker viewer
- In MS Word I created an empty doc file that had the first and last page portrait and the middle ones landscape
- I opened it with Textmaker viewer and it only showed 3 pages, 2 of them landscape and last one potrait
- This file as it was opened in Textmaker was printed exactly by doPDF

It would seem that Textmaker has a problem too when opening Word documents that contain landscape and portrait pages, so I couldn't replicate this problem here. I suggest that if you have a word document with landscape/portrait pages to use the free Microsoft Word Viewer as it will let you open .doc files and convert them to PDF: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=95E24C87-8732-48D5-8689-AB826E7B8FDF&displaylang=en

Oh...I understood.

TextMaker Viewer (2006 or 2008 ver.)
Can you use this print your document?

Uninstall the version of doPDF you have now and install the new one from http://www.dopdf.com/download.php

The bug you've showed in the image was corrected in a previous version, so I assume you're using an older build of doPDF. I've just tested a print from MS Word with a 4 page setup (first portrait, following 2 landscape, last one portrait) and they're converted correctly.
