Hello,

This is a link with the hyperlink embedding that can be made with doPDF:

http://www.novapdf.com/kb/create-active-pdf-links-using-novapdf-professional-68.html

The links must be visible in the document when printing otherwise they will not be recognized.

Thank you.

The PDF conversion does not imbed the hyperlinks from MS Publisher into the PDF copy. I have tried to convert a file that does not have any notes added to it -- just a plain MS Publisher .pub file with embedded links. Most of the embedded links contain the email address of the person in the photo, but others refer to web pages.

I just downloaded and have tried dopdf7.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello,

Does this issue happen when you convert the file with doPDF or after you just add notes and comments to it with another application?

Also what PDF version are you using on your PDF files?

Thank you.

I've used hyperlinks in my newsletter in the past and they have worked well.
Now that comments and notes have been added to the pdf version I am using, the links no longer work in the pdf version

Thanks
Keith

With dopdf any word documents converted that have visible hyperlinks (i.e. start with http or www) will be active pdf links (clickable).

However if a link is "hidden" it will not be converted. There is a commercial program, novapdf, that will install an addin for Microsoft Word, which will convert hidden hyperlinks too.

Is it possible to convert a Word document into a pdf file in such a way thta all the hyperlinks that refer to locations within the document are preserved in output pdf?

I did not understand the test you did, because you say the hyperlinks point to the same url first, but after that you say the bug combines 2 different ones? Anyway, if you could send a powerpoint to info[]dopdf.com with it we will try to see what's it about.

I have a PPT slide that has 2 textboxes.

The texts in those textboxes are hyperlinks.
Also, I have added hyperlinks to these textboxes that point to the same URLs.

In the PDF,

I would expect that
- textbox1 points to: url1
- textbox2 points to: url2

However the result is
- textbox1 points to: url1 url2
- textbox2 points to: url1 url2
