Hello,

doPDF prints whatever it receives from the application in which the printing is done. The error you are having isn't related to our program unfortunately but more likely with Acrobat. What can we suggest is for you to do a clean installation of all the applications involved.

Thank you.

Hello, I just installed doPDF because Adobe Acrobat 7.0 stopped working, however when trying to print a tif document with doPDF I received the same message I was getting with Acrobat: "There was an error loading the plug-in 'Updater.api.' The plug-in failed to initialize." The message is displayed in a window by Adobe Acrobat, even though I have Adobe Reader as the default PDF reader and doPDF as the default printer. Any help on this is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Please try to save the file in another folder with a different name if possible. Also make sure you have full administrative rights on the file in the new location.

After that try to print with doPDF again and let us know if you still have issues.

Used this product before to print from Louts Formviewer 3.5 (on a previous computer). Loaded to my new computer and doPDF to loaded properly, however, when I attempt to print I get this error msg - "error creating pdf file (the process cannot access the file because it is in use by another process)" I have NOTHING else open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software. I've tried using doPDF as the default printer. Nothing - help! Need this to work for my job....

Hello,

Please let us know the exact version of doPDF you are using from the About section in the Printing preferences area.

We have tested all the MS Word versions with our application and there were no issues of this sort so a sample of the file you were using when you encountered the issue would be of much help for us to troubleshoot this.

So please send this information to support@novapdf.com and we will do our best to help you.

When I convert my MS word file to PDF with the program, many of my graphics and images do not appear on the PDF file. Any time this happens, the entire rest of the page is also blank and no text appears? What can I do to fix this?

Hello,

Unfortunately the only service directly related to the doPDF application is the Print Spooler one. You can check if there are any issues with the service and if you do not have any issues with it starting or running we suggest a Windows OS repair / reinstall.

Hello,

We have tried all the popular browsers with the latest doPDF version on Win x64 but we did not have the issue in the tests.

Please try uninstalling doPDF completely by following this tutorial http://www.dopdf.com/forum/topic/completely-uninstalling-dopdf and give it another try after reinstallation.

Hello,

The error you are getting unfortunately does not have anything related to the doPDF installation.

All we can advise is to try the latest build of our application after a complete uninstall of the old build and if you still get the errors you should look for any browser problems.

After a search on the internet on the error "Warning: The 'charCode' property of a keydown event should not be used. The value is meaningless." it seems to be related to Firefox. Please access this for information : http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?locale=en-US&comments_parentId=496917&forumId=1

When I print to doPDF I will get one or more "unresponsive script" error messages somewhere along the process of selecting a target location or in naming the file name. I click through to continue and the process works fine, but this is pain. I don't have the problem if I send the print job to a standard printer, but I have had the same problem when I was using the Nitro PDF printer. What's happening?

I noticed that when I print an MS Project document, the information column in MS Project is blank. This column has icons usually shows check marks for completed items and calendar icons for date dependent items.
When I open the PDF created I get a pop up message "Cannot find XObject named 'Img2'".
I can ignore the message and the rest of the project plan comes out fine so this is not a major issue, I just didn't know if there was any way around this to either suppress the message or to have a way for the icons to display.
