Hi,

Unfortunately doPDF does not include the merging (append/insert) option. However any version of our commercial solution, novaPDF, does. To read a detailed article about this functionality, access http://www.novapdf.com/kb/merge-pdf-files-with-novapdf-146.html

Is there a way to embed a code for a checkable box in the text that I am printing with doPDF? I have seen references to Adobe commands such as this:
PDFDoc.Page.AddCheckbox "DemoCheckBoxes", 100, 100, 120, 110
... although I am unsure if the resulting box would be checkable.

I would need the resulting PDF document (a form, I guess) to have a box that could be toggled by clicking on it ... on/off-style.

Thanks for any help.

Hurricane Irene forced me to regroup with my digital toolkit. I need PDF advanced features but early retirement makes the budget tight. So I made this video to provide an Overview about PDF that can be used in the communities I serve as a volunteer as well as potentially give a few tips to those that are not novice users.

I posted my video which also represents 1st use of other tools here:

The stamp you are getting is a setting from the application in which the printing is done, not from doPDF. Please search for a setting of this type and disable it.

Hello
Having tested dozen of free pdf creators I came to conclusion to use doPDF.The reason is that it is able to produce documents in RTL languages (Persian) with no copy/paste problem. If your document is in RTL language and you convert it to pdf then you can no longer Copy and paste its content as they become distorted.doPDF does this job well.
Not bad to mention that the only alternative I found that does the job is Adobe distiller(300$)!

This video tutorial is just a simple HowTo.Enjoy...

Well and also where you want me to download it.

This video I made is about how good doPDF it is at printing web pages, and how to do it. DoPDF works better then the Nitro Firefox add-on. A lot better, with proper page breaks and even page numbering.

Most pdf files are meant to be print on actual paper, so they have nice wide white borders all around... that's really annoying when you want to read the file on an ebook reader. But you can use doPDF to crop away that extra whitespace.

I have installed doPDF and it works like a charm. The thing is 1 have 1 application that runs in a DOS box, the prints from that application are printed, scanned to pdf and mailed, which is wasteful. At the moment i use NET USE LPT1 \\domain\printer to print to our network printer. What i want to do is to reconfigure to print to dopdf

something like NET USE LPT2 \\pcname\dopdf

First thing i noticed was that if i try to share dopdf it does not work, goes back to not shared, anybody out there who has something like this working
