When using the DO PDF printer, the Save PDF File dialog box comes up behind open windows. If the open windows are maximized, I can't even tell it is there. Can it be set to come up on top of all other open windows? It would save a couple clicks getting to it. I love this program, I never print out receipts any more, I print them in pdf. Thanks so much for making this available, especially for free!

My Genealogy hobby has recently become active again and it would be very nice if I could use a pdf file for a turnaround document.

That is I send a form to somone and if they can edit it and send the updated file back to me I would use the info to update the family database.

The primary reasons are: 1. sending and receiving pdf type files sre smaller hence faster transmit & receive times.
2. The edited doc allows the sender and the receiver to look at the same information for follow up questions or for adding additional research uncovered later.

Is there any function in dopdf or plans for any to accomplish that?

I just installed doPDF and tried to print a couple of pages, one from Word (which is what I will be using primarily) and the other from Notepad (which I decided to try only after doPDF didn't print from Word.)

I opened the Word doc, clicked File then Print, which brings up the Printer dialog box. doPDF is indicated along with my other printers, but is not set as my default printer. When I click on the doPDF printer, the dialog box closes, my document also closes and no other box appears.

I made another document with Notepad and followed the same procedure but the doPDF program functioned fine.

I need to convert an ebook I have written in Word to PDF. HELP please!!!

Love your program and have been using it with no problem for several months before IE 8 struck.

I need a tool or solution for the following situation.
We print on 12x18 sheets of paper using an HP Indigo Digital Press.

We need a solution for taking thousands of PDFs of various sizes and automatically outputting PDF files at 12x18 with several of these smaller PDFs imposed on them and possibly carrying meta data as well.

Imagine thousands of images in PDF that all needed to be printed (duplex) and that you wanted to use the 12x18 sheets most efficiently and waste as little of the sheet as possible. And some of these images would need to be printed multiple times and some only once. So a quantity would need to be defined as well.

I know that there may be a considerable amount of set-up work in defining the coordinates and specifications for the desired output. However, I feel like there is likely a solution for this problem out there or a program that could be used to automate this process.

The large number of images that will need to be placed is too much to manually place and arrange each of them onto the 12x18 sheets, so we need an automated solution.

Any experience or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You.

Hi, Newbie here :)

Is there a PDF editor which has a track changes facility, like MS Word?

I assume Adobe does but I am hoping one of the less expensive editors might too.

Thanks
Kay
