doPDF 6.3.311 includes only some small fixes related to the log it creates when being installed (in some situations using the install log option enabled would crash the installation), as well as new information for recognizing installations on Windows 7.

These discounts are valid for version 2010 of the above programs too, which were recently released. According to their latest press release:

RegistryBooster is an automatic, powerful and comprehensive application for improving PC performance, stability and general health. Originally launched in 2006, the 2010 version of the software has been published, with some major improvements and additional features.

The 2010 release is a major upgrade and includes the following improvements and developments:

5 different language options – English, French, German, Italian, Spanish.

Compliant with Microsoft Windows 7, Vista and XP

32 and 64-bit compatibility

Smaller and faster download /install. Smaller file size and improved server performance have improved download time.

Enhanced, deeper and faster scan performance. New development of the scanning engine means that scans are more thorough and efficient than those performed by previous versions of the software.

Improved, easier-to-use GUI. Based on the results of usability testing, the functionality within the GUI has been improved enabling users to understand the features better. Registry categories have been split into 3 major segments, with errors now being displayed by segment and category. This interface upgrade means that users can see, at-a-glance and with greater understanding, where any problems may lie.

Quicker backup and restore procedure. Backups are now more compact, backing up only information required to revert to the previous state of the registry.

New "Damaged Level" feature. This new feature indicates Uniblue's assessment of the potential damage caused by registry errors to a PC’s general stability and performance. Rated on a scale from "low" to "high", a low damage level indicates that a PC is healthy, while a high damage level shows that the computer is at serious risk of performance loss due to registry impairment.

Johan Malmberg, Uniblue’s CVO is excited by the new version and added, "Since its launch in 2006, RegistryBooster has gone from strength to strength. We’re confident that the improvements in the 2010 version will give the PC user an even better experience with the much improved, simple-to-use interface, faster download, install and scanning times and a significantly upgraded backend. Windows 7, 32 and 64-bit compatibility combined with the availability of several language options, means that many more computer users globally can benefit from the utility“.

Uninstall previous versions, restart computer, download and install program, restart computer after install.
I remember one time it wouldn't work right, the file downloaded was corrupted from a site that I got it from. I got it from another place, installed and it worked fine.

I've been using doPDF for several years with WXP SP3. I just updated to version 6.3.307 and it doesn't work. I get a PDF file with 0 bytes. I reinstalled doPDF with the same results. Where do I get version 308 to see if that solves the problem. Thanks.

Your new version doesn't work in Vista 32 or 64 bit. Problem like last year when protect mode was on.
In Vista, printer icon freezes in bottom right near clock, then nothing happens.
Works good on XP.

doPDF 6.3 build 307 was released. It contains some new/updated features and bug fixes, so update is recommended. One important new feature is the ability to choose if the PDF will be opened once it's created or not.
What's changed in doPDF 6.3.307:

New: doPDF now allows you to choose if the PDF reader will open after the PDF is created

New: Uses local time instead of system time for PDF creation date and time

New: Added Danish language for the interface

New: Creates folders (multiple levels) when saving pdf file, if folders do not exist

Fix: Corrected bug numeric values when no decimals allowed in regional settings - numbers

Fix: Corrected mirrored images in printer driver

Fix: Corrected bug to keep the resolution set in preferences

You can download the new version here: doPDF 6.3.307

doPDF was recently reviewed on TecChannel, a popular German IT portal. The article is published in German and cn be viewed here: doPDF - Kostenloser PDF-Konverter.

The reviewer draws a conclusion about doPDF (more or less, my German is rusty): "An extremely simple PDF converter, but this is what makes doPDF charming".

If you've seen doPDF mentioned in a magazine that we haven't noticed yet, feel free to let us know via the forum.

Softonic is Spain's most visited software download portal and after reviewing doPDF they've named it "outstanding". An excerpt from the review:

An excellent PDF converter that's fast, easy to use and serves as more than an adequate replacement for Adobe's software.

We've tested doPDF 6.2.296 with the newly released Windows 7 release candidate and we can confirm that it's fully compatible with it.

This is good news since it means that doPDF will most likely be 100% compatible with the final release of Windows 7, thus the early OS adopters will be able to use their favorite PDF creator (yes, doPDF) on Windows 7 too.

If you don't have the latest version of doPDF installed (that we tested on Windows 7 and it works), you can download it here: doPDF 6.2

Softland, the company that develops doPDF, has achieved the Microsoft Certified Partner status with an ISV/Software Solutions Competency.

This is good news for doPDF users because now we can test each new release on a broader range of Microsoft products which translates into fewer bugs.

Thanks to Ivan Horvat we now have the dopdf.com website available in German too: dopdf.com/de/.

If you want to help us translate the website (or the interface) in a language that's not yet translated in, you can start by visiting this page: Languages. You'll see there in which languages doPDF is not translated, and if you want to help you'll simply have to email us and we'll reply with details. Practically the website has about around 1200 words that need to be translated.

doPDF 6.2.296 is the latest build on site. This fixes some small issues with the conversion, the most important fix being the correction for 8-bit bitmaps conversion (when printing emf files).

Softland on "doPDF exceeds 7.6 million downloads"

The total number of direct download requests for doPDF is now at 6,567,275 and if we add only the downloads from download.com, 1,124,919, that sums up more than 7.6 million downloads for doPDF since its launch.

Of course, we cannot count all the downloads made through other channels (such as those hosted on external websites) but we're pretty sure that in total there are over 8 million downloads (as an example, only those from Majorgeeks and Softpedia count up to almost 100,000 downloads).

And if downloads continue to increase in the same rhythm, we'll surpass the 10 million downloads mark in the next couple of months. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank you, the doPDF user, for making doPDF popular. We'll continue to make it better and each day we'll do "the same thing we do every day, — try to take over the world!" (it's not as easy as it sounds though, we're competing with two laboratory mice)

Lifehacker is the most popular blog on software and productivity, and they named doPDF the Download of the Day (quite some time ago, posted now in an effort to gather in one place the most important reviews doPDF received) testing the limits of our hosting company. You can read it all here (and eventually post comments about it): Download of the Day: doPDF (Windows)

Adam Pash, the reviewer, said about doPDF:

[...]doPDF just worked for me better than CutePDF off the bat. Just install and you're ready to print anything to PDF

DownloadSquad, a very popular AOL blog, mentioned doPDF in an article entitled How to print just about anything to PDF for free. Their conclusion about doPDF?

Sure, doPDF's not the only program that performs this function, but much like Foxit, it's free and it just works. Really well.

Kim Komando, aka the America's Digital Goddess(TM) - and if you see her you'll agree with that, hosts a very popular radio show and maintains several newsletters. A while ago she discovered doPDF and named it the Cool Site of the Day, a proof of that being kept on her website at http://www.komando.com/downloads/category.aspx?id=3173

doPDF received the Fileforum Pick award (quite some time ago), something that only a few selected programs get, and is probably one of the reasons doPDF is the most downloaded programs in its Printing category (exceeding 300k downloads and way WAY over programs like Primopdf and PDFcreator).
